Hooray! We finally have some news. The second dose for our residents will be administered around April 26. We are collaborating with the CIUSSS and we will keep you informed as soon as we have more news.

Our residents will all receive Moderna or Pfizer vaccines as these are the ones that were administered during the first dose. Interestingly, since these two vaccines are made on the basis of messenger RNA, they are interchangeable. There is therefore no negative effect to receiving either one of them during the second dose.

As far as employees are concerned, as of this morning, those who did not yet have access to their first dose will be able to register to receive it. Until now, only employees who provided direct services to residents were eligible.

We do not have statistics to provide on the vaccination rate of employees, but we are compiling the data.
