Although the outbreak on the 3^rd floor is ending soon, we have had several cases spread throughout the facility. Considering this situation, again this year, we must maintain the application of infection control measures and require visitors to wear masks at all times.

This means that we cannot agree to the request of some families and allow parties at the Penthouse. Nor can we allow families to bring a meal and share it with our residents.

We are extremely sorry for the grief this may cause, but we must align our measures with public health recommendations, ministerial directives, and measures in place in the other C.H.S.L.D. in the territory of the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal.

Hoping that next year will see a more normal holiday season.

We remind everyone that if you experience symptoms of flu, cold, gastrointestinal problems, or COVID-19, you must stay home and not show up at the Château.
